Yup, that’s about it.

Some of Darren Tan’s artwork for The Essential Reader’s Companion. Gorgeous.
(Check out the lightsaber in the Mara Vong painting vs. the version we debuted back in August! He fixed it!)
Holy crap I just realised something…
I got a nagging feeling when I saw Loki in Jotun form, that I’d seen something similar before. Then I remembered: he’s a dead spit for Grand Admiral Thrawn from the Star Wars Expanded Universe novel Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn. Thrawn is a Chiss, who have dark hair, blue skin and red eyes. He’s also a tactical genius who’s been exiled from his home planet. He’s on the side of the Empire and is in charge of an army (unfortunately, the Rebels do not have a Hulk).
If they ever make Zahn’s rather brilliant Thrawn Trilogy into a movie series (not likely, alas, as it also has Luke, Leia and Han and the respective actors would be to old - it’s set just after the Original Trilogy), Tom Hiddleston would be a pretty good choice for Thrawn, if only for the “Hee, Loki in Star Wars!” angle.
Huh. Good point.
Also, I surprisingly don’t hate this fan-casting (I hate fan-castings 99.9% of the time) despite being rather neutral on the Hiddles.
