New Star Wars in comic shops 4/17/13: Darth Vader and the Ninth Assassin #1, the fourth printing of Star Wars #1. And in collected editions, there’s Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison in hardcover and the trade paperback of Knight Errant: Escape - the series’ final (for now, anyway) storyline.

So I haven’t actually Tumbled about StarWars.com’s This Is Madness at all (even though #TeamHondo) but VADER BEAT BOBA FETT, OH MY GOD. I don’t even care who wins the final, I’m so happy that Fett not only lost, he didn’t even come CLOSE. Four for you, fandom.

I mean, no, I’m not happy that none of the ladies made it past round 2, but that’s just a sign that maybe we need more than 3 significant female protagonists. (C’MON, SEQUEL TRILOGY! YOU CAN DO IT!) And also, if you’re going to pit Padme and Leia up against each other in round 1, MAYBE you do the same with the father-son pairing on the other side instead of stacking the decks? But whatever. Yoda vs. Vader: Vote as you will.
