Spider-Man, Secret Wars style meets Luke Skywalker, Return of the Jedi style. (With Leia subbing in for distressed civilians — at least she seems to be having more fun!) By ninjaink:
“The Amazing Space-Opera” is a comic book anthology series published by Mynock Comics from 32 BBY through 4 ABY, and revived in 1996 and in the 2000’s. It is best known as the title that introduced the popular science fiction character Sky-walker in 1977. This particular issue marked a hallmark event in which the protagonist switched over to his “black” costume, thereby marking an important rite-of-passage in the hero’s character development.
The cover pastiched is Amazing Spider-Man #252, itself a take on Amazing Fantasy #15.
